Countdrop Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Countdrop does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. We operate no server, and nothing you do in the game reaches us.

Where your progress is kept

Your scores, daily-challenge history, streak and unlocked themes are saved on your device, and — if you are signed in to iCloud — mirrored to your own iCloud key-value storage, so that a new phone picks up where the old one left off.

That copy lives in your iCloud account, under your Apple Account. It does not pass through any server of ours, and we have no way to read it: there is no back end and no CloudKit container on our side. It holds counters and receipts — streak length, coins, stars, which themes you have unlocked — and nothing that identifies you.

Your sound and haptics preferences stay on the device and are not mirrored.

Deleting the app removes the copy on your device. The copy in iCloud stays with your Apple Account — that is what lets a reinstall bring your progress back. It belongs to your Apple Account, not to us: we can neither read it nor delete it, and it goes with the rest of your iCloud data if you delete that account. If you are not signed in to iCloud, nothing is mirrored at all, and deleting the app removes everything.

Game Center

If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Countdrop submits your scores and achievement progress to Apple's Game Center service so that leaderboards work. That data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us — we never see your Game Center identity, and we store nothing about you on any server of our own. Game Center is entirely optional; declining it leaves the game fully playable.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Countdrop schedules a daily reminder locally on your device. No notification is sent from a server, and no device token is collected or shared.

Children

Countdrop is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
